The course comprises selected topics within Building informatics and wood constructions.

The candidate
- have an in-depth understanding of selected topics within Building informatics and wood constructions.
- can choose and use appropriate methods for simulation or analysis.
- can read and analyze scientific articles, and thus become informed about the relevant scientific front.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, guided self-study (literature and videos), report writing, individual work and/or in groups, and presentation in plenary.

Further on evaluation
The grades are set based on delivered project report. If failed, new report has to be delivered according to agreement with course coordinator.
Up to 3 mandatory assignments must be delivered according to plan and approved, to have access to the exam/project delivery.

Recommended previous knowledge
Completed mandatory courses in first semester for master in Building informatics and wood constructions.
