Course content
Complete the innovation project started in course TTT4255 Electronic System Design, BC using the knowledge from the first three semesters.
Learning outcome
Knowledge:
- Detailed learning outcomes depend on the specific problems in the innovation project.
Skills:
- Apply the knowledge from the first three semesters to design electronic systems using microcontrollers, sensors and actuators.
- Ability to document technically and for a general audience how a problem is solved by a self-developed electronic circuit.
General competence:
- A beginning identification with the role of technological problem solver and innovator through utilization of design thinking methodology.
- Team work skills.
- Ability to reflect on own work and electronics in general in a sustainability perspective.
Learning methods and activities
Project work in groups. Dialogue based learning methods combined with lectures. Guest lectures and excursions.
Further on evaluation
The assessment is based on a project report and an oral and practical presentation of the final product. The report and presentation contributes 45% and 55% to the final grade, respectively. The assessment is done in groups and everyone in the group receive the same grade. The oral and practical presentation might be done in an public environment. Information on the scope of the report, possibilities for feedback, delivery method, deadlines and assessment will be given at the start of the semester.
For a re-take of the course, all assessments during the course must be re-taken.
