Close knit student environment and industry collaboration
You will attend a program with approximately 45 students from both Norway and around the world. This means it is very easy to get know everyone. In addition you have access to well equipped research laboratories and study halls for students are provided.
Your MSc thesis is performed in close collaboration with your supervisor and other researchers/PhD students working on relevant topics. NTNU is also in close contact with the industry, so even collaboration with industry is possible. All experimental research laboratories are well equipped.
Gløshaugen campus and Trondheim
Your studies will take place at NTNU Gløshaugen Campus which has a thriving international environment. In addition to being the largest campus at NTNU, Gløshaugen is located right outside Trondheim city center, next to Studentersamfundet, which hosts large concerts and many different events. Trondheim is Norway's largest student town.

There are many social events to look forward to were you get to know other students. We also have our own breakroom, just for students studying Materials Science and Chemical Engineering. Here you can always find someone to have lunch with, or chat with during a break.
