Section for Case Management and Documentation Management
The section – also known as DOKU – manages documentation as a shared service for the whole of NTNU. Effective documentation management is important in public administration, and the section has a central role in this work.
We have overall responsibility for ensuring that documentation that is important in case management, or that has historical value, is preserved properly across NTNU. It is especially important that such documentation is:

Accessible: Easy to locate, meets transparency and public‑access requirements

Reliable: Protected against unauthorized changes, meets integrity requirements

Secure: Satisfies requirements for official documentation and privacy
We are responsible for NTNU’s systems and procedures for documentation, and we provide training, advisory services, and user support. In addition, we handle NTNU’s central mailroom.
