NTNU has been a leading player in artificial intelligence in Norway for several decades. The university conducts research in areas such as machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and autonomous systems. Additionally, NTNU is committed to closely examining the ethical and societal challenges of AI. NTNU combines theory with practical application and collaborates with industry to develop solutions in health, energy, and technology.
NTNU also offers education in artificial intelligence at various levels. Students gain insights into AI technologies and their applications, and work on tasks that reflect both technological challenges and opportunities in the field.
