About

Ali Payami Golhin is a Ph.D. candidate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the Department of Manufacturing and Civil Engineering. He has research experience in the functional and optical properties of structured surfaces as an ApPEARS fellow, which is funded by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions under the Horizon Europe program. Ali has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Materials Science (2011 & 2013) and a master's degree in the Tribology of Surfaces and interfaces - TRIBOS Erasmus Mundus (2019), all of which were fully funded by prestigious national and international scholarships. He has research experience in 3D printing and additive manufacturing, optical and appearance measurement, corrosion science, tribology, surface science, and coatings.
