Welcome to the official website of the 9th Conference of the Scandinavian Association for Language and Cognition.

The aim of SALC is to promote the exploration of the intricate relationship between language and cognition within the Nordic countries and beyond. We give visibility to research that views language not in isolation, but as intertwined with the structures and processes of human cognition, perception and action, while acknowledging language’s influences on these structures and processes. SALC serves as a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of ideas among disciplines, theoretical frameworks and research programs dedicated to investigating language and cognition.

The conference is hosted and organized by the Language Acquisition and Language Processing Lab at NTNU.
