Lab

For å kunne teste ut ny teknologi og løsninger, har prosjektet etablert første del av en relevern forskningslab. Denne er bygd rundt sanntidssimulatoren OPAL-RT med prosess-buss muligheter samt Omicron CMC356 for testing av releer. Sammen med siste utgave av ABBs relion 670 releer er dette et godt fundament for forskning på og testing av relevern. Laben tillater også hardware-in-loop testing av relesystemer. Laboratorievirksomhet er en svært viktig del av prosjektet, og dette må derfor kunne ses på som et stort skritt i riktig retning. Doktorgradsstudenter har implementert algorithmer på STM32-kort for uttesting på prosessbuss. Både hendelser (GOOSE) og målinger (SV) kan nå leses og skrives i sanntid ihht. IEC 61850.
