The exam is assessed on a pass/fail basis and consists of:
Individual contribution to a joint performance, solo and/or in an ensemble with a maximum duration of up to 10 minutes per student, absolute minimum 5 minutes. Examination repertoire is determined by the candidate in consultation with the supervisor. The student group prepares a joint concert/performance where they all contribute. They print a program for the concert/performance specifying which student(s) to assess individually during the specific songs/pieces performed.
