About the course

Course content

Topic of the project is chosen among relevant subjects in the students selected study track and specialization. The project may be a pilot project for the Master's thesis.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: Specialization within a particular topic by using scientific methods.

Skills: Data collection and handling, literature search and review, as well as combining this with theoretical knowledge. Correctly cite sources.

General competence: Complete a comprehensive project, including to prepare a plan with milestones, point out results and write a report based on existing norms.

Learning methods and activities

Independent project with guidance. Seminars.

Required previous knowledge

Student in final year of their MSc specialization within Civil Engineering.
