Time-resolved luminescence spectroscopy

Time-resolved luminescence spectroscopy

There are facilities for fs laser based spectroscopy for characterization of photo-physical properties of various materials and biological systems.

This is built around a fs Ti: Sapphire laser with frequency conversion to cover excitation between 250 nm and 1000 nm (multiphoton excitation 710-920 nm). There are pulse management systems and additional pulsed lamps for time-correlated single photon counting detection systems and detection of decay times in the range 100 ps-100 s, at wavelengths 250-1600 nm.
