Course content
Based on the content of the summer school the student has participated in, a topic is chosen for the student to study further. The responsible teacher will then formulate an additional research question related to the chosen topic. The student will then work on this topic equivalent time to 4.5 ETC.
Learning outcome
The student will deepen his knowledge in a specific topic based on the summer school visited.
Learning methods and activities
Individual study with a presentation in the end.

Admission to a programme of study is required:

Required previous knowledge
The student must have participated in a summer school on his related field of research/expertise. Admission to a PhD programme is required. Certificate from the PhD summer school must be presented. Note that if you wish to follow the course the semester it runs, but are not affiliated with the PhD programme in Engineering at NTNU, please contact phd@ibm.ntnu.no.
