About the course
Course content
Based on the content of the summer school the student has participated in, a topic is chosen for the student to study further. The student's main supervisor will then formulate an additional research question related to the chosen topic. The student will then work on this topic equivalent time to 4.5 ETC.

Further on evaluation
Evaluation based on project work.
Specific conditions

Engineering (PHIV)
Required previous knowledge
The student must have participated in a summer school on his related field of research/expertise. Certificate from the PhD summer school must be presented. Admission to the PhD programme in Engineering is required, with a supervisor from IBM's research group Hydraulic Engineering. The candidate's supervisor must agree to run the studies. Certificate from the PhD summer school must be presented.
The course will be run if at least 3 students with relevant background wish to attend. If you wish to attend, please contact the course coordinator. Students not admitted to the PhD programme in engineering may be approved by the course coordinator.
