Mandate
The Faculty Bord is the supreme body of the Faculty.
The Faculty Board is responsible for establishing the paramount objectives, priorities and strategies of the unit within the frames of the current regulations and the resolutions of the superior level.
Thus the Faculty board ensures this by determining:
- the strategy of the unit and its superior priorities regarding the diciplines
- budget and the distribution frame
- matters of great strategic or principal importance
- reports on goal achievement relative to strategy and budget
Composition:
The Faculty Board consists of 11 members:
- Chairman of the Board (external)
- 4 memebers of the scientific staff, of which 1 representative for the temporarily employed
- 2 student representatives
- 1 members of the technical- and administrative staff
- 3 external representatives in addition to the Chairman of the Board
For each member group a corresponding number of deputies is to be elected/appointed.
Secretary of the Faculty Board is the Dean. The Dean also attends the board meetings and holds the right to speak.
