New pricing as of January 1st, 2017

All Norwegian universities are to use pricing in accordance with the so-called TDI model. HUNT Research Centre also follows these guidelines and has adjusted their cost levels accordingly. Prices as of January 1st, 2017:

  • Cost per planned scientific publication will be NOK 30,000, which will amount to NOK 90,000for a typical PhD project with 3 publications. VAT must be added to projects by non-NTNU researchers.
  • Pricing in consortium studies, when HUNT-data is pooled together with at least 2 other cohort studies (registries excluded) – costs will be NOK 30,000 + VAT for the project.
  • Studentpapers (bachelor, master, “hovedoppgave”): NOK 2,000 per paper- if a paper is planned published in a scientific journal, the usual costs for publications is applied.
  • Hourly rate for the construction of tables - minimum NOK 3.000 for a 3-hour job. Additional hours will be billed at NOK 800,-- per hour.
  • Use av SNP’s with known associations comes with an additional cost of NOK 10.000 per planned publication. For the use of less then 10 SNPs a discount of NOK 5.000 applies.
