Project Applications

Are you applying for externally funded research-, innovation- and education projects or other BOA activities? As project leader, you will get help with strategic assessments, budgeting and other proposal support. By keeping the deadlines, you are ensuring best possible assistance throughout the proposal development process.

All research proposals shall be registered in the IE registration portal

Recommended deadlines
How soon you need to register your proposal, depends on whether you plan to be coordinator or partner.

Deadlines as coordinator:

• EU proposals: 3 months before proposal deadline
• ERC proposals: 6 months before proposal deadline
• RCN and other programs: 6 weeks before proposal deadline
• Center proposals: deadlines will be announced

Deadline as partner:
3 weeks before proposal deadline 

Remember to budget

Supervision, project meetings, travels, and work groups are to be included. Lab, HPC, and eventual software do also cost money.

Register Project Hours

In order to register hours on externally funded projects, log in to the Self service portal, and choose Time. You may also register project hours in the DFØ app. Note that you register the number of hours you work on a specific project. You don't punch in and out.
