Professional days and general meetings

The Department organizes Town Hall meetings 1-2 times per semester, and additional meetings if necessary. Presentations from the Town Hall meetings can be found on the right of this page. If you, as an employee, cannot attend Town Hall meetings, you are obliged to keep yourself up to date on current matters by reading minutes and presentations.

Once a year, the Department organizes a 2-day seminar for all its employees. Here we discuss current topics that may be useful for the Department to address. Once a year, we organize an all-day research seminar. Everyone who has the opportunity should make it a priority to attend these days, both for professional and social benefit.

Once a year we organize the IEL day. All employees, students and external partners are invited to a gathering for social and professional benefit and collaboration.

Friday Coffee Gathering

Every Friday, the Department serves Friday coffee at 14.00 in the lunch room. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this.

Newsletter

The head of department sends a newsletter to all employees via e-mail every Friday. The email contains information about what has happened at the institute during the week, and useful messages that everyone should take with them.
