Research
The institute does research within general practice, applied public health, community medicine with social medicine, epidemiology and medical statistics, women's health, medical conduct and medical history.
Most of the research is based on data from the Nord-Trøndelag health Study (HUNT) and one of the goals is a closer cooperation between epidemiology research, clinical research and basic research.
