The Symposium is held at the historic resort of Sola Strand Hotel on the western shores of Norway. It is  situated in picturesque surroundings, close to Stavanger city and the Airport. The Solastranden beach, right outside the hotel, is 2,300 meter long, and was once crowned the world's sixth best beach by The Sunday Times.

Sola Strand Hotel is located less than a mile from the airport and is easily reached by taxi. Stavanger Airport Sola is the main hub for arrival and departure, both national and international flights.

The main attractions and best things to do in Stavanger at a glance.
