Energy and indoor environment - Sustainable Energy Systems - Department of Energy and Process Engineering (EPT)
Research Area
Building Energy and Indoor Environment
Indoor climate is the goal, energy is the means.
Buildings, where people spend more than 90% of their daily time, account for over 30% of final energy consumption in modern societies. This makes them a crucial sector for achieving both national and global climate targets. We focus on developing sustainable energy solutions that ensure safe, healthy, and comfortable indoor environments towards zero-emission buildings and neighbourhoods.
