The imaging facility at the Center for Advanced Microscopy (CAM) is an interdepartmental collaboration between the Department of Biology, the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science, and the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences (NV).

We offer access to advanced research infrastructure, located in the Natural Science Building at NTNU. The instrumentation includes optical microscopes (confocal laser scanning, multiphoton, total internal reflection, fluorescence lifetime), a flow cytometer, spectrometers and atomic force microscopes.

CAM's mission is to create a dynamic and productive environment for researchers at NTNU and for our national and international collaborators, offering users the latest technology in molecular imaging as well as technical support and expertise.
