Course content

The work assignment will be within the area of industrial ICT.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: An MSc candidate has knowledge of: A specific topic within the area of applied industrial ICT.

Skills: An MSc candidate can:

  • Work based on scientific methods .
  • Carry out an independent project having worked out a project plan with milestones.

General Competence: An MSc candidate can:

  • Aquire complementary knowledge through literature studies, and other sources of knowledge, in combination with the candidate's own knowledge.
  • Report partial results during the work period and write a project report in accordance with an accepted standard.

Learning methods and activities

Independent project work with supervision. The guidance and advice are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course.

Further on evaluation

Information about writing and submitting your project can be found on NTNU's website under your department. If the project is performed as group work, the students and supervisor shall make an agreement (preferably at start-up) about individual or joint assessment of the final project report. The project has to be submitted in NTNU's examination system Inspera Assessment. For a re-take of an examination, all assessments during the course must be re-taken.
